GENERAL INFORMATION

The Hemophilia 2008 Congress Secretariat and Housing Bureau has secured a number of discounted hotel rooms at various prices in Istanbul, Turkey. Most hotels are within walking distance of the ICEC.

Reservations Procedure

Hotel accommodations can be booked either directly on-line or by using the hotel reservation form .

You will be requested to select in your first, second and third choice of hotels on the reservation form. The Hemophilia 2008 Congress Secretariat and Housing Bureau reserves the right to assign another hotel should the desired hotels you have chosen be fully booked.

Reservations will be dealt with on a first-come, first served basis and will be based on availability at the time of booking.

Deposits

Deposits may be made by two methods; a valid credit card number or a cash deposit.

Deposit by Credit Card

Room reservations will be confirmed once the Hemophilia 2008 Congress Secretariat and Housing Bureau has received your completed reservation form with a valid credit card number. Your reservation will be forwarded to Tour Select Ltd, in Istanbul, who will in turn charge your credit card with a deposit equal to 50% of your entire stay. 30 days prior to the event Tour Select will charge the full stay deducting the 50% deposited.

Deposits by Cash

If you are unable to provide a credit card guarantee, Tour Select Ltd will invoice you for a deposit equal to 50% of your total accommodation cost. Your hotel reservation will then be confirmed when your deposit is received by Tour Select Ltd. 30 days prior to the event Tour Select will charge the full stay deducting the 50% deposited.

CONFIRMATION

A confirmation of your hotel will be sent within two (2) weeks of receipt of your reservation form. The confirmation will include the name and address of the hotel and the cost per night. Please do not contact the hotel directly as all reservations will be handled by the Hemophilia 2008 Congress Secretariat and Housing Bureau.

CHANGES and CANCELLATIONS

Notification of the cancellation of a hotel reservation must be sent in writing to the WFH Congress Secretariat & Housing Bureau before April 16, 2008. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

For cancellations received on or before April 16, 2008, a refund will be issued after the congress, less a 50 Euro administration fee.

For cancellations received after April 16, 2008, no refund will be granted.
